Kingwood Center Gardens is the historic garden estate and former home of Charles Kelley King, who was an influential industrialist and visionary at the Ohio Brass Company. Come and explore the grounds featuring 47 sprawling acres renowned for both their historic significance and exquisite gardens.
Step back in time while touring Mr. King’s home, Kingwood Hall, a French Provincial-style mansion. The Greenhouse is overflowing with displays of exotic and unique plant life and the Garden Shop features a diverse selection of plants and garden goods.
Kingwood also offers an extensive line-up of activities and educational programming including lectures, workshops, children’s programs, and special events.

Parking: With the new construction of the Garden Gateway Center (opening Summer 2020), the Trimble Road entrance and parking lot will be temporarily closed for the 2019 season. Please use the Park Avenue West entrance and parking lot for admission. Visit our website for information on special event parking.

The French Provincial mansion contains many rooms decorated with Mr. King’s original furnishings. An elegant greenhouse features 9 months of displays and plant sales. The extensive grounds offer opportunities for hiking and quiet isolation.
Extend your stay at Kingwood Center Gardens with the optional catered sack lunch. The price is $12.00 per person (2019 price) and includes an indoor venue for seating.
