COVID-19 Statement

At Kingwood Center Gardens, one of our highest priorities is the safety of our guests, staff, and volunteers. We are closely monitoring the ongoing developments and recommendations regarding COVID-19 from both the CDC and Ohio public health officials.

As of March 17th, Kingwood will still plan to open on April 1st, however, public buildings including the Greenhouse and Garden Shop, Kingwood Hall, and Peacock Playhouse, will be closed to the public at least through April 15th. During this time, our gardens and grounds will be free for guests to enjoy. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Restrooms will be available in the Workshop located in the Courtyard Complex.  Parking will be at our Park Avenue entrance and parking lot only. Please practice the recommended social distancing guidelines during your visit.

Several events, rentals, and workshops at Kingwood will be impacted by these measures. We intend to reschedule everything we can and offer full refunds for what we cannot. For further information on this announcement and its impact on Kingwood’s hours and events, please see our website.
