How to recycling blue jeans artfully!!!

In this workshop participants will learn basic weaving techniques as well as the use of colors, texture and composition.

“American Blues” uses bluejeans and other repurposed fabrics to create a rustic flag that evokes the images of the American workers from the mines and factories, to the cowboys. To this we add found, and dear objects such as buttons, labels, pins, broches, etc… for a personal touch. The project is mounted on a wooden frame.

Feel free to bring items that add your own touch, and objects if you wish to personalize your artwork.  We will have many choices of items to adorn with as well.

Come join us for this social distance class and enjoy the camaraderie of other artists who are hard at work creating. Only 10 spots available.  Please note that Mansfield Art Center does have a mask policy.  We would be glad to provide you with one upon arrival.
