Snowman Felting Class

Needle felting is the process of repeatedly pushing a barbed needle into a mass of fiber, agitating, compressing, and locking the fibers together into a more dense mass of fiber. No experience necessary. No knitting, no crocheting. I think of it as being like sculpting, with fiber and a needle, instead of clay.
In this class you will learn to needle felt a three dimensional snowman out of alpaca fiber, complete with whatever accessories you decide to dress him/her in. All materials are included, felting tools and foam surface to work on are provided for use in class. This is a fun class and everyone’s snowman turns out so different than the others. Great gift or Christmas decoration for your own home!

Class participants must be 16 or older, but kids 12-15 may register with an adult companion also enrolled in the class.
