The Mansfield Art Center offers you a chance to take your first gathers in glassblowing. Under the guidance of our instructor, Noah, you will begin to learn the basic fundamentals of glassblowing.
You will learn how to operate safely in the hot shop. How to gather, handle and shape 2000*F glass into a variety of solid and blown forms. Also, you will learn about the craft, science and history of this medium.
Mansfield Art Center takes sanitation seriously at all times. For your protection and other’s, we kindly ask you to respect social distancing and to wear a mask for the duration of the class. Precaution is taken so you do not have to use your mouth to inflate your glass creations.
