Extrodinary Sidewalk Chalk Art

Although it may seem simple, it’s filled with layers of kid-excitement! Let Program Director, and long-time educator, Debra Weaver, teach your blossoming youth to think about taking their imagination and art skills to yet another level. This is a workshop of skill development, and deep understanding of line, shape, form, color and incorporation of live art. An experience!
Part of this course is in the development and the other in the documentation (photos) of the artist’s work. Each student will work individually (which opens our age range), with the instructor in developing their idea from one of our ‘starters’ or their very own origin.
Our photography will include angles, height, and dimension as we document and help the final product to come out in brilliant photographs for you to have a physical copy and an electronic copy for your files and duplication.
Naturally, this is an outside class, however, limited to only 10 students. A rain date is scheduled for Friday, August 14 | 10-1130am.
We will follow a social-distanced model that we take very seriously.
Parent/responsible adults are welcome to stay or feel free to fill out an information form and be certain the same adult who drops off is the same adult that picks the youth up. Thank you in advance for help with this safety measure.
