Eatmor Bundt treats Victoria\’s Secret crowd

MANSFIELD — Brad and Joyce Wells of Eatmor Bundt Co. drove to Orlando, Florida on Saturday in a cargo van with 1,600 mini bundts.

The cakes will be enjoyed by those attending a luncheon at the Victoria’s Secret Angels Holiday Convention.

Wells said before this her biggest order to date was to Chicago for 550 mini bundts.

Volunteers Friday helped her tie bows on the cakes at the local synagogue on Cook Road.

“It was seven hours nonstop (to tie bows),” she said. “It’s a wonderful order and this could give us more business with them.”

Joyce Wells said it took her three days to bake all the bundts, both chocolate and lemon flavored.

“A bride I had six years ago is now a marketing rep for Victoria’s Secret and she says she always wanted to be able to have our cakes at an event,” she said.

Wells said she was so scared of shipping she and her husband decided to drive them.

Eatmor Bundt is located at 837 Lexington Ave., next to Donato’s Pizza.

Wells, who has been in business locally since 2004, sells 18 flavors of bundts as well as cookies, breads, scones, biscotti, cheeses, wines, sandwiches and teas.
