Black History Month 2015 "The Story of Us" Series

The Ohio State University at Mansfield, North Central State College, and the Diversity & Social Justice Council: NC State plan to honor Black History Month through presentations from noted university professors, workshops, and culminate with the 14th Annual Soul Food Dinner.
All events open to the public.

The first event of the "Story of Us" series is titled

Dr. Dawn Kitchen, Associate Professor of Anthropology at OSU Mansfield, will explore how the concept of "race" is a social construct and how that construct has been a powerful determinant
in American History and Politics.
