Presented By: Ohio State University Mansfield Theatre

The presentation in Founders Auditorium with Gaye Adebgalola traces the history of blues women from the 1920's to today.  Video clips of many black women blues vocalists show how the working class black woman is documented in these blues lyrics.  Gaye will give highlights of the many vocal techniques that are used to give drama and immediacy to their songs and will enhance the presentation with live song performances.  An event not to miss.
