VINTAGE MOTORYCLE DAYS AND BUCKEYE SUPERBIKE WEEKEND SWAP DATES

Date change helps motorcycle fans get the most out of their summer

LEXINGTON, OHIO (December 17, 2013)

Mid-Ohio announced today a date swap for its two major 2014 motorcycle events.

AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days has been moved from its original date to July 11-13. The AMA Pro Racing event, the Buckeye SuperBike Weekend presented by Dunlop Tire, remains as a two-day event and is now scheduled for July 19-20.

Due to a conflict with other motorcycle events, both locally and nationally, AMA and AMA Pro Racing looked to explore new dates and Mid-Ohio officials were open to the adjustment.

“We were happy to work with the AMA and AMA Pro Racing to come up with a reformatted schedule that we believe will benefit everyone, including the great fans who support these events.” said Craig Rust, Mid-Ohio president.

Tickets start at $25 for AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days and $30 for the Buckeye SuperBike Weekend presented by Dunlop Tire. General parking is free and children 12 and under are also admitted free. Fans with questions can visit midohio.com anytime or call 800-MID-OHIO (643-6446) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. In addition, AMA members should watch americanmotorcyclist.com for news of a special ticket discount available only to AMA members through the AMA offices.
